Cape Town - The Premier Soccer League (PSL) are offering discounted prices for tickets as well as giving away freebies in order to boost attendance for next Saturday's Nedbank Cup final between Maritzburg United and Free State Stars.
The encounter between two smaller sides in the South African game is set to take place at Cape Town Stadium, and concerns have arisen that fan numbers on the day may be low.
Prices for tickets have been cut from R60 to R40 while the first 10 000 supporters to purchase will get an extra ticket for free for the game between the Team of Choice and Ea Lla Koto.
The two teams acted as giant-killers in the competition by eliminating giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs at the semi-final phase.
Both outfits will lock horns to try and secure the R7 million prize money on offer for the champions.
The last time the Mother City hosted a cup final was in 2003 when Santos beat Ajax Cape Town 2-0.
Kick-off is at 19:00.
