Cape Town - Pitso Mosimane has been impressed by Maritzburg United's style of play this season and says he has never seen a formation quite like the one used by the Team of Choice.
Mamelodi Sundowns are set to face Maritzburg on Sunday in a Nedbank Cup semi-final before facing the side once again in the Premiership the following Wednesday.
The Brazilians appear to be closing in on another league title success and will no doubt be wanting to add the Nedbank trophy to their already impressive cabinet of silverware.
But speaking to reporters, Mosimane said: "It's not an easy one, you play Maritzburg, I have never seen a team which has effort like that, they have got lefts (left-footed players) and they are awkward.
"You must analyse the way they play, I swear to God I have never seen a formation like this in my whole life, never, never.
"And it works out and is good, they don't have a striker. They play with two strikers out wide and that's where the Belgian (Andréa Fileccia) always scores goals, you see he scores goals from the sides and nobody picks it up.
"It's like everybody has got his own software playing, I mean, it's very difficult. Look at Orlando Pirates how they play with their three strikers, with narrowness and speed."
Kick-off is at 15:00.
