Percy Tau one step away from realising Champions League dream

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau is on the brink of Champions League qualification after his new Belgian side Club Brugge secured a 1-0 away win over LASK in a first-leg Play-off tie at the Linzer Stadium on Tuesday.

Tau was suspended for yesterday's clash after picking up two yellow cards in a 3-3 draw in the Third qualifying round against Dynamo Kiev to claim a dramatic 4-3 aggregate victory.

A first-half penalty by midfielder Hans Vanaken proved decisive as Club Brugge grabbed a vital away win to move to the brink of Champions League football.
