Nodada: City not intimidated at all by Sundowns

Cape Town - Cape Town City midfielder Thabo Nodada believes that the Citizens have every chance of beating Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-finals.

City will host the star-studded Sundowns in the first leg on the weekend of August 25/26 after seeing off Maritzburg United 1-0 in the quarter-finals.

The Brazilians possess some of the most successful performers in South African football such as Hlompho Kekana, Tiyani Mabunda, Oupa Manyisa and Andile Jali, however, Nodada says the side are not intimidated.

He told Kickoff, "Why not? They've got legs, they have hands just like we do, come on.

"There's 11 players a side. What do you want me to say? You want me to say we are going to lose? Come on."

"This time around we are taking it one step at a time. We are not too excited. We've still got the semi-final to play and once we get past that then we can think about the final.

"Definitely we were disappointed that we lost in the cup final and now we looking at winning it."
