Nedbank Cup Round of 16 draw

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have been paired with ABC Motsepe League outfit The Magic in the Nedbank Cup Round of 16, while Black Leopards will play host to Absa Premiership rivals Wits.

With a number of high-profile clubs dropping out of the competition at the first hurdle, including Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, Amakhosi are one of the early favourites to claim the cup this year.

Another team with a strong claim for the trophy this year is Gavin Hunt's Bidvest Wits, but they can expect stern opposition when they travel to Thohoyandou Stadium to face fellow Premiership side Black Leopards.

Bloemfontein Celtic, meanwhile, will be wary of an upset when Richards Bay visit Dr Molemela Stadium, with the National First Division outfit having claimed the scalp of 2018 Nedbank Cup winners Free State Stars in the previous round.

Benni McCarthy's Cape Town City take on Highlands Park in another all-Premiership encounter, Golden Arrows travel to Witbank Spurs, and Chippa United play host to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
