Mogaila hoping his pace can create havoc in MTN8 final

Cape Town - Highlands Park winger Mokete Mogaila is hoping his express pace can cause the SuperSport United defence problems in the MTN 8 final on Saturday.

Mogaila is one of the fastest players in South Africa football and has been one of the key players as the Lions of North have made a run to the Cup final.

Matsatsantsa's two central defenders, Bongani Khumalo and Clayton Daniels, are 32 and 35 years of age respectively and Mogaila will be hoping to advantage of his extra yard of pace.

Mogaila told the Sowetan: "I am not the only one who's got speed in the team, but I am hopeful that if I get a chance on Saturday the pace that I have can contribute to the team's goal of winning this final.

"Almost each and every offensive player in the team is quick... [Peter] Shalulile, Wayde [Jooste] and [Sphiwe] Mahlangu are some of the fastest guys in the team.

"But it won't be that easy to just go past the SuperSport defence because it contains experience. We will need to stick to what our coaches tell us on the day."

The MTN 8 final kicks off at 18:00 at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
