Cape Town - Cape Town City's veteran midfielder Teko Modise says he is thriving in the set-up of the Citizens and he is committed to helping the club win as many games as possible.
The 35-year-old has been in some scintillating form for the outfit from the Mother City, and was instrumental in helping the club defeat Orlando Pirates 1-0 on Wednesday to advance to the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup.
As such, the former Bafana Bafana star takes the view that the environment at City is inspiring and he is highly motivated to doing well in every match he plays.
The Gauteng-born star said: "It has been a tough season for us. It has been new for me, the team and Bennie and a couple of new players. We lost key players within the team. We are actually a new team in terms of structure.
"This is the only cup now that is in our hands and we know if we have to win it, it is up to us. The league is not as open as it used to be, but we are going to give it a try. Every game that we play we are going to try and win it.
"We are going to try and win as many games as possible. I love being here, I love the team. We have a great coach and chairman.
"The players are willing to play, they are willing to learn as well. It is very nice for me to be here, I'm just rewarding them with my performance."
