Chiefs can't be losing hope, says Billiat

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat says the club must maintain their self belief and confidence ahead of the Nedbank Cup final against TS Galaxy.

Chiefs are set to face the National First Division outfit on 18 May at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. It's is the club's only hope of silverware in 2018/19.

The Glamour Boys have endured a disastrous campaign in the Premership and can finish no higher than seventh in the standings.

In addition, the side are at risk of missing out on a top eight spot if they lose to Chippa United on Saturday in their final league game.

Billiat told reporters: "We're not surprised to be in the cup final, I'm sure.

"We worked hard and we're not there by luck, and we never lose hope, this is our job.

"Every game is an opportunity to rectify whatever [need be], and we're always looking forward.

"We work hard every day in training for us to be somewhere, so we can't be losing hope."

Kick-off against the Chilli Boys is at 15:00 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
