Cape Town - Torrential rain forced the abandonment Wednesday of a Nedbank Cup last-16 tie at half-time with hosts Black Leopards leading Wits 1-0 in Thohoyandou.
Lesedi Kapinga broke the deadlock on 37 minutes with a shot from the
edge of the box, but the goal will not count with officials saying the
cup tie has to be replayed in full.
"The match officials assessed the pitch at half-time and believed it
would be dangerous to continue playing on it," a spokesperson for the
