Cape Town - Baroka FC Chief Executive Officer Morgan Mammila says his players must focus on winning the Telkom Knockout and must not be concerned about the cash bonuses.
Bakgaga are set to take on Orlando Pirates in the final on Saturday at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, with the match kicking off from 18:00.
It has become a regular occurrence for clubs to offer a financial bonus as an incentive to perform at an even higher level in the final.
However, with R4 million at stake for the side that claims the TKO crown - Mammila takes the view that no discussions about money will be held and that the only priority for the players is to focus on the match.
He told KickOff website when asked about any potential incentive structure: "No! You know, our players are focused, and you know excitement...we [are] controlling the excitement.
"So, all what we need...play and not concede. When we play Pirates, concentrate and the rest will follow.
"No, our players are paid well man, so they are not even thinking about bonuses now. They are thinking only about the match, the final...if we win the final.
"Yeah, you know people have already given Pirates the cup, a big 10 days even before the match. But it's fine. We even saw that they are going to play with a new kit."
