AmaZulu lose court case, MTN8 to go ahead

Cape Town - Absa Premiership outfit AmaZulu's application to interdict the start of the MTN8 Cup has been dismissed by the Johannesburg High Court.

"Judge Fisher has struck the application brought by Amazulu FC off the court roll. Amazulu FC to pay costs," the Premier Soccer League Twitter account confirmed on Wednesday.

Following the Tendai Ndoro saga, AmaZulu felt that they should have been included into the seasons opening domestic tournament.

The competitions kicks off this weekend.
