Cape Town - Former Moroka Swallows star Lerato Chabangu and ex-Orlando Pirates forward Fikru Lemessa could resume their careers with ABC Motsepe outfit Baberwa.
The ambitious lower tier outfit recently added former Kaizer Chiefs centre-back Tefu Mashamaite to their ranks as they eye promotion to the higher divisions.
In addition, ex-Pirates winger Khethokwakhe Masuku and ex-Chiefs midfielder Mthokozisi Yende are in the squad which comes from Gauteng.
Club owner Joe Seanego revealed that both Chabangu and Lemessa are being looked at with a view to a deal being potentially done in 2019.
The former last played in the PSL in 2015/16 for Chippa United and has been out of the top flight since.
Meanwhile, Lemessa last played for Highlands Park in 2016/17.
Seanego told Kickoff: "We are talking to Fikru. We are trying to bring him to the club to fortify our striking force.
"We are also trying to revive the soccer career of Lerato Chabangu and give him hope.
"We expect him to start training with us in the new year."
