Cape Town - Goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is unlikely to feature for Kaizer Chiefs in the second leg of their CAF Champions League third round tie against AS Vita Club on Saturday.
Chiefs lost the first leg 3-0 in Kinshasa over the weekend with Reyaad Pieterse in goal.
Khune, 26, has missed a number of the Amakhosi’s games since picking up an ankle injury earlier this year.
According to the Soccer-Laduma website, a protective boot that Khune had been wearing has been removed but he is still expected to miss this weekend's clash at FNB Stadium.
Chiefs may face an uphill battle to stay in the CAF Champions League, but are firmly on top of the PSL standings with 15 wins from 22 games, leading second placed Mamelodi Sundowns by six points.
