Jele, Jali blow for Pirates

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates have confirmed that midfielder Andile Jali and defender Happy Jele are out Sunday’s CAF Champions League Final second leg against Al Ahly.

According to the club's official website, both players will be serving their respective suspensions after receiving their second bookings in the first leg against the Egyptian giants over the past weekend.

“Andile Ernest Jali received two cautions in two different matches namely match 122 and match 125. Therefore both players are automatically suspended for the second leg final of the Caf Champions League, match 226, Al Ahly (Egypt) vs Orlando Pirates (South Africa),” Caf said in a statement.

Pirates are expected to jet out of the country on Wednesday evening for the return leg to be played on Sunday. The first leg at Orlando Stadium ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
