Cape Town - Orlando Pirates' Happy Jele and Andile Jali travelled with their team-mates to Egypt ahead of the much anticipated CAF Champions League final second leg to be played at the Arab Contractors Stadium on Sunday evening.
According to a report on the Kick-Off website, both players were spotted at the Buccaneers training session at a military base in Cairo on Thursday.
Jele and Jali will miss the much talked about final due to suspensions after they picked the bookings in the first leg encounter at Orlando Stadium last Saturday.
Jele - who was the stand in captain in the absence of Lucky Lekgwathi and Siyabonga Sangweni - is confident the 1995 champions will again be victorious in 2013.
He said they overcame a lot of challenges together from the first match in Comoros and we are there to give their continued.
He also said that it’s not easy to sit out and very sad but that the team decided they should come along for support.
“Magnets’” absence could pave a way back for veteran skipper, Lekgwathi, who last featured for the Happy People against the same opponents on September 22.
Heading to this encounter, the South African side will need a goal to overcome the Egyptian giants as the defending champions scored an away goal last week when the teams played to a 1-all draw.
Mohamed Aboutrika was on target for Al Ahly before defender Thabo Matlaba snatched an equaliser for Pirates in injury time.
The final of the continental showpiece will commence at 18:00 (SA time) on Sunday.
