Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has decided to hang up his boots on his 35th birthday.
The former France international enjoyed spells at Newcastle United, Fulham, United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Lazio.
The striker started his career at Metz in 1997 and after a loan spell with the Magpies he secured a deal with Fulham in 2000.
Scoring 64 goals in 144 games attracted the interest of United and after a GBP 12.8 million move, he went on to score 42 times in 124 appearances for the Red Devils.
He continued smacking in goals with 35 in 115 games for Everton before stints with Spurs, Sunderland and Lazio as his career came to an end.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Saha said, "Want to thks all managers, all staffs, all teammates, all opponents, all fans, for all support and love towards me during my football career.
"I'm a proud man but without you all I won't be myself now. Thx for the challenges thx for the help thx for the memories thx for the passion.
"I will stop to be call a professionnel footballer and wish many young talent to enjoy as much as me my football. Love you and thx again."
