TV schedule cleared for Afcon

Cape Town - Come January 19, 2013 and SABC1 will become the 'Home of Soccer' as viewers will be taken on a fun-filled soccer journey.

Viewers will be able to watch all the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) matches on SABC1.

Programmes usually scheduled for SABC1 during the 16:30 to 24:00 time-slots will shift to SABC2 in order to ensure soccer fans have uninterrupted viewing throughout the tournament in be held in South Africa.

    Wish SABC would do the same for Rugby. I don't know why I pay my TV licence anymore cause there is nothing to watch except local trash that gets repeated every other month!

    I agree that the sabc executive is anti-rugby.The currie cup final was showed at 22:00 for 45minutes on sabc.Instead sabc showed 2 psl games that saturday both games attracting very few spectators at stadium and poor tvfigures.They like shoving psl in our faces.For goodness sake if pslsoccer was so important to south africans why are all the stadiums empty except when chiefs and pirates are in town.TVFigures are not that rosy either.
