Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Themba Zwane feels his nomination for several end-of-season awards is just rewards for all his hard work in the 2018/19 season.
The 29-year-old played a crucial role in his side's successful Absa Premiership title defence, and his performances have most certainly not gone unnoticed.
Zwane is in the running for the Premiership Footballer of the Season gong, while he has also been nominated for the Premiership Player's Player of the Season and Premiership Midfielder of the Season.
"It makes me very happy," Zwane said, as quoted by KickOff website. "I always wanted to see myself there and now it's happening.
"It shows that there is good a job that I am doing throughout the season and so I'm happy for myself.
"I would also like to think my teammates. I was not going to do it alone. They are always there for me," Zwane concluded.
