Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates defender Eugene Zwane feels the team will play better if coach Eric Tinkler uses the experienced Happy Jele in the left-back position.
Jele has been forced to watch from the sidelines for the better part of the season due to a recurring hip injury, making just nine appearances in all competitions for the Buccaneers thus far.
In his absence, Ntsekelelo Nyauza has had an impressive run in the starting line-up, however the former Bucs star concedes that he would prefer Jele over the 25-year-old.
"Jele is far more experienced than Nyauza and he is also one of the leaders in the team," Zwane told Goal website.
"So, Jele would be given first preference because of the experience and leadership he has over Nyauza.
"Nyauza though is also a very talented fullback, so it is really up to the coach to decide.
"However, I would always give Jele the nod ahead of Nyauza for those two reasons: experience and leadership."
