Sipho Zwane says he enjoyed his time at Orlando Pirates while counting himself 'unlucky' as he struggled to make an impact.
The 28-year-old, who now plays for JDR Stars in the GladAfrica Championship, after spells with Cape Town All Stars and Tshakuma Tsa Madzivhandila, joined the Buccaneers from Garankuwa United in 2016.
He failed to make a single appearance for Bucs but put it down to timing; joining the club at the same time as new coach Muhsin Ertugral.
Speaking to the Citizen, Zwane said: "I might have not got game time at Pirates, but to be honest they treated me very well.
"I was just unlucky at that time and then came in a new coach Muhsin Ertugral."
"When he came into the team he already knew the players that he wanted.
"But, that’s football and they loaned me out to Cape Town All Stars before going to Tshakuma Tsa Madzivhandila FC."
