Zambian striker wanted by Sundowns

Cape Town - African champions Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly set to sign Zambian international striker Justin Shonga.

The 20-year-old Shonga currently plays for Zambian Super League club Nkwazi.

Shonga has been in outstanding form of late for the Zambian national side, having netted four goals in his last six games for Chipolopolo.

According to a ZamFoot source in Pretoria, the player is close to signing for the Pitso Mosimane-coached CAF Champions League holders.

"Sundowns have already made an offer to Nkwazi. It looks like a done deal as both parties have agreed.

"What is remaining is just the player’s personal terms," the source said.

Baroka FC had also reportedly shown interest in the Nkwazi marksman who hails from Kum'awa.
