Yeye training with Highlands Park hoping to secure deal

Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane will train with Highlands Park hoping to secure a contract, his agent has confirmed.

The 37-year-old Letsholonyane left Matsatsantsa at the end of last season and has been in search of new club.

The player's agent, Steve Kapelschunick, has said his client is hoping sign a deal with the Lions of the North.

"He's starting to train with Highlands Park," Kapelschunick told KickOff.

"So we will see how that goes. He's going to train and he’ll see if they like him, and he's going to see if he likes it there and then they will take it from there.

"He is not trialing, he's going there to train and he's going to see the facilities and the system.

"They are going to look at him and they will take it from there."

Letsholonyane played 19 matches in all competitions for SuperSport United last season, providing one assist.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
