Yeye returns for SuperSport ahead of TKO final

Polokwane - SuperSport United welcome back midfielder Reneilwe 'Yeye' Letsholonyane from a one match suspension, ahead of the Telkom Knock-Out final against Cape Town City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Letsholonyane missed Matsatsantsa's league encounter against Bloemfontein Celtic after accumulating his fourth yellow card of the season in a 2-0 triumph over Wits.

Yeye's return will be a major boost for Stuart Baxter and his technical team.

The industrious midfielder had a stellar career in his previous club, Kaizer Chiefs, and expressed his desire to achieve more accolades with Matsatsantsa.

Yeye also hinted that the Pretoria giants are ready and eager to get their hands on the lucrative trophy in Polokwane.

“We are ready for the final and we are willing to compete for the crown,” Letsholonyane told Sport24.

“Winning the final will mean a lot to me because I came here to win trophies. I came to SuperSport to contribute positively to the team success and not just to add more numbers.

“A win on Saturday would reflect that I made the right decision by joining SuperSport United and again it would mean that we have reached our goal for the season as a team.

“So if I get an opportunity to play I will do my best to help the team win.”

Kick-off is scheduled for 18:00.
