Xulu's agent address ill-discipline rumours

Siyanda Xulu's agent insists the defender has remained professional, despite Kaizer Chiefs placing him on the transfer list.

So poor was Xulu in his first season at Chiefs that they have moved to sell him during the current transfer window.

The 24 year-old signed a lucrative deal with Amakhosi in 2015 after joining from FC Rostov in Russia.

Agent Paul Mitchell has defended his client after reports emerged that Xulu had disciplinary issues.

"I will not comment on the player's future. What is discussed between the player and the club is confidential," Mitchell told Soccer Laduma.

"But I will address the reports suggesting that he has been affected by ill-discipline.

"There have been no reports of any sort of ill-discipline and, on that matter the club has never approached Siyanda or myself on any concerns of ill-discipline.

"Anyone who knows Siyanda or has worked with him will tell you he carries himself professionally; he does not shirk hard work or commitment."

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
