Cape Town - Bidvest Wits have made their 11th signing of the season with the acquisition of highly-rated Zimbabwean defender Farai Madhanhanga from FC Platinum.
Madhanhanga is highly regarded as one of Zimbabwe's brightest and most consistent talents for his performances over the last three seasons in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.
The 24-year-old broke in to the Zimbabwe national team in the CHAN tournament back in 2016 and has made 10 international appearances for the Warriors.
“We wish him all the best of luck. They [Wits] were uncertain on whether they wanted him to join now or mid-season,” said FC Platinum spokesperson Chido Chizondo.
Madhanhanga's capture follows the acquisitions of Brandon Petersen, Siyanda Zwane, Phathu Nange, Sameehg Doutie, Prince Nxumalo, Zitha Macheke, Carl Lark, Ivan Mahangwahaya, Nigerian Kenneth Sebastien and Joseph Douhadji from Togo.
