Wits showboating stunt annoyed Pitso

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane blasted Bidvest Wits' players for showboating in their 3-0 MTN8 Cup Final victory on Saturday.

Wits clinched the title in a dominant performance at the Mbombela Stadium after a brace from Daine Klate and another goal from Eleazar Rodgers.

With Wits comfortable in control late in the match, some of their players started doing ball tricks and showing-off.

Mosimane saw the late show as a form of mocking them when the title had been all but won and lost.

"They played well, they deserve it, but I don't like the show and I spoke to Keagan Dolly, I could see he was going to lose it," Mosimane told SuperSport.

"We got 71 points, we were 14-15 points ahead of Wits, we scored five there, four there, we were professional the whole year, we passed the ball around...we can [also] turn the show [but didn't last season].

"A little bit not nice, that's not nice because Keagan lost it and I could see Ricardo Nascimento was going to lose it.

"I said guys, accept it, otherwise if we don't accept it we will be bad losers and all that, but I'm a little bit unhappy with that."
