Wits move closer to PSL summit

Cape Town - Gabadinho Mhango came off the bench to score the winning goal for Bidvest Wits, who defeated Black Leopards 1-0 at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday night.

The result took the Clever Boys up to second spot on the Absa Premiership standings with 23 points from 12 matches, while Lidoda Duvha are in last (16th) place with nine points from 12 matches.

The teams will return to Absa Premiership action in a week and a half, with Leopards away to Maritzburg and Wits at home to Golden Arrows. (December 12).
