Wits director never stopped believing

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits director George Mogotsi says he never stopped believing the club would one day win the Premiership title.

Mogotsi, who has worked at the club in a number of guises including as a cashier‚ driver and security operative before becoming a director over 33 years of association with Wits, said he was delighted to see Gavin Hunt's side win the league.

"I am happy that we finally managed to win the league championship because this is what every club aspires to be," he told the SowetanLIVE website.

"When we wake up every morning to go to work‚ this is what we are working towards and I am very happy that finally it has been achieved and hopefully it is the beginning of many other good things to come for this club."

Mogotsi has seen 11 coaches come and go during his time with the Students, Hunt their 12th and first to win the league title at a club that boasts a colourful 95-year history.
