We want to keep our winning streak going, says Mphahlele

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele says they are ready to pick up maximum points when they host Highlands Park on Saturday.

Amakhosi take on Gordon Igesund's side at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, with a chance of moving to the Premiership summit if they can claim a fifth consecutive win.

However, Mphahlele admits the Lions of the North cannot be undermined despite their current standing of 15th place.

"I watched their last game (against Polokwane City) at home and obviously they have a good team," he told the club's official website.

"I am actually surprised why they are at the bottom of the log, because they have good players who have experience of playing at the highest level.

"We have to be at our best if we want to beat them and switch on from the first whistle till the last and take our chances.

"In all honesty we are expected to win against them and we want to keep our winning streak going."

Kick off is at 18:00.
