Cape Town - Orlando Pirates caretaker coach Augusto Palacios wants an improved performance against Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday.
The Peruvian boss believes the team owes it to the fans to collect maximum points in their remaining games of 2016.
The Buccaneers will take on Maritzburg United on Tuesday, and then Baroka FC in their final game of the year, on 20 December.
Pirates are experiencing a dip in form after a recent slump of two draws and one loss in the Premiership.
"It is going to be very difficult and this is not because they don't have a coach, I don't worry about this, they have good players," Palacios told KickOff.
"It is very difficult to beat Maritzburg because they have a young rising team. The league is still a long way out and we still need to play the second round, but we cannot continue dropping points.
"When we play Maritzburg and Celtic we need to make sure that we take the points to win comfortable."
Kick off is at 19:30.
