WATCH: Twitter reacts to 'Oxford Dictionary' Komphela

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela caused a social media frenzy when he went on a biblical parable rant that had Robert Marawa confused just before the kick off of their match against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

Komphela sounded riled by what his counterpart Pitso Mosimane had called an anti-football tactic by the Chiefs technical team to play five defenders and felt it was denying the fans the joy of their money spent on tickets.

"You know there are times where before you say something you’ve think hard and deep because there is greater possibility it is a reflection of either the psyche, the mentality, the character of the person or it reflects a bit of background. For fear of exposing of where you come from, you think twice and consider perspectives,” said Komphela as quoted by Supersport.com.

"In the olden days when Jesus Christ went on through his lessons, he was never specific in his references. He will always use symbols because whenever a symbols is used where something has to be rectified, none of us gets consumed. If I were to refer to somebody “ukuthi maar mfowethu umnyama” (You really dark skinned mate), I would put it like that because I am, but if I were not I would put it in a way that respect in what am referring to. I hope you understand”

To which, Supersport present Robert Marawa responded: "I don't".
