WATCH: Steve Komphela officially joins Twitter

Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela officially joined Twitter with a video message detailing the reasons he has joined the social media platform.

After a number of fake accounts surfacing over the years, the 51-year-old revealed that if 'you can't beat them, join them' was his strategy behind starting an account.

"Molweni, I have been made aware that there are numerous fake accounts on social media platforms making the rounds in my name," Komphela said in his first Tweet.

"As such, I aim employing the 'if you cannot beat them, join them' strategy except with real makoya accounts. Perhaps I too will post a video soon... "
