WATCH: Marawa and Pitso's feud continues

Cape Town - Two awkward interviews between SuperSport anchor Robert Marawa and Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane sent Twitter into overdrive over the weekend.

Kaizer Chiefs travelled to Loftus Versfeld for their Absa Premiership season opener against Masandawana in front of a 40 000-strong crowd.

The match ended 1-1 with each team earning a point courtesy of goals from Ramahlwe Mphahlele and a Ricardo Nascimento penalty.

The first interview took place before kick-off, with Marawa asking for Mosimane's insight on the Sundowns starting XI.

Mosimane's body language appeared to show disinterest in answering Marawa's questions.

As is Premier Soccer League (PSL) protocol, each coach has to give SuperSport a post-match interview after the final whistle.

Mosimane, seemingly irked at the decision to award Khama Billiat the official man-of-the-match accolade, unexpectedly probed Marawa as to who selects the award.

After again showing lack of interest in answering Marawa's questions on the match, Mosimane asked the veteran broadcaster, "Can I ask, who chooses the man-of-the-match. Is it SMSs like in the Shell Cup? Who chooses the man-of-the-match?" to which Marawa responded, "the commentators".

Mosimane then leaned in and asked, "What did he (Billiat) do?" before walking off screen, ending the interview abruptly.

Marawa and Mosimane's bad blood dates back to when the Sundowns coach was the Bafana Bafana mentor.

Former sports minister Fikile Mbalula also revealed last year in several tweets that the Metro FM radio presenter has a personal vendetta against Mosimane.
