Cape Town – Jomo Cosmos coach Jomo "Black Prince" Sono says that he will only retire under one condition.
Sono, the founder and chairperson of Ezenkosi, spoke exclusively to popular broadcast journalist Robert Marawa on his YouTube channel Marawa TV last week.
In an hour-long discussion with the former SuperSport TV presenter, Sono reveals that he remains determined to guide his side back to the Absa Premiership.
Cosmos, currently 14th on the GladAfrica Championship standings, could find themselves relegated to the ABC Motsepe League with 10 games remaining in the season.
"I will come back," Sono answered as to whether he will return to South Africa's top-flight league.
"You can vouch, next year I will be back (in the Absa Premiership). If I don't, I will retire."
The discussion around his retirement starts at the 9-minute mark.
