Cape Town - AmaZulu have announced Jozef Vukusic as their new head coach to replace to the departed Cavin Johnson.
Johnson was sacked by Usuthu on Monday with the club having made a poor start to the current campaign having only picked up two points in their first five league games.
Vukusic will return to the top-flight of South Africa football having held the coaching job at Polokwane City last season.
The Slovakian led Rise and Shine to a creditable fifth-place finish last campaign but quit the Limpopo-based side at the end of the season due to personal reasons.
AmaZulu announced their new head coach on their social media platforms, saying: "We wish to welcome Jozef Vukusic who will take over as Head Coach with immediate effect.
"The 55-year-old Slovakian born coach is due to arrive in Durban this afternoon and be introduced to team on Thursday morning."
The KZN club also confirmed that Vukusic has signed a three-year contract.
