Cape Town - Orlando Pirates legend Benedict Vilakazi has hailed the impact of Thembinkosi Lorch for the Sea Robbers and believes his all-round attacking game is unique in the Absa Premiership.
Lorch has been a star performer for Bucs in 2018/19, managing to bag an impressive 10 goals in all competitions for coach Milutin Sredojevic's side.
In addition, he has scored three goals in his last four appearances against Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby.
In Pirates' run to the final of the Telkom Knockout in December - he struck four goals although the side lost the final to a courageous Baroka outfit.
Vilakazi, who starred for the club between 1999 and 2007, told Kickoff: "That boy [Lorch] is brilliant. I can put my money on him.
"People always say you are a good player or striker because you score goals, but sometimes you can be good not by scoring goals but creating opportunities for your team-mates.
"Lorch can score and create, he is brilliant."
Pirates are next in action on February 20 when they take on SuperSport United at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
Kick-off is 19:30.
