Cape Town - Veteran defender Morgan Gould is confident he will still be a Supersport United player next season despite a lack of game time this campaign.
The 35-year-old Gould has featured in just 10 league matches so far in the 2018/2019 season and there has been speculation that the experienced player could leave Matsatsantsa as the club look to build for the future.
However, the Bafana international is undeterred despite a lack of game time and spoke about how he could give back to the club.
Gould was quoted as saying by DailySun: "Listen, the future is very bright.
"I know I have a lot to contribute to the game. I also know I need to give back to the game because the game has given me life and hope.
"You mustn't forget that I come from an underprivileged background.
"So, I'll definitely be at the club next season, and even the season following that. SuperSport is my home and my home is where my heart is at."
Matsatsantsa beat Free State Stars 1-0 on Sunday to stay in the chasing pack as they battle for the league title.
