Twitter reacts to Pirates coach announcement

Cape Town - After nearly four months without a head coach, Orlando Pirates have officially revealed Kjell Jonevret as their new mentor.

Club chairperson Irvin Khoza opted to lure in an international coach as the announcement was made in Johannesburg.

Jonevret previously coached Molde FK, Viking FK in Norway while back home in Sweden he led Djurgardens to a league and cup double in 2005.

The 54-year-old has signed a three-year contract and is expected to be in the Buccaneers' technical area this weekend.

Meanwhile, Pirates will face Polokwane City on Saturday, February 25 in an Absa Premiership clash.

Kick off is at 15:30.
