Tinkler: We have to be better

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler admits that they have to do much better against Etoile du Sahel in the second-leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.

The Buccaneers suffered a disappointing draw in the first-leg at Orlando Stadium after Ammar Jemal cancelled out Thamsanqa Gabuza’s 36 minute wonder strike.

According to Orlando Pirates official Twitter account, Tinkler says that more chances in front of goal needs to be created.

“We have seen that they have weaknesses that we didn't exploit last time,” said Eric Tinkler.

“We need to do better this time & make them count.

“We created chances as a team but only had two shots that counted, one of which registered. We have to be better, have to.”

Kick-off is at 20:30.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
