Tinkler targets clean sheet

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler admits that it is important for his side not to concede at home to Etoile du Sahel.

According to Orlando Pirates official Twitter account, Tinkler stresses the fact that if they were to concede at home then they will make life really difficult for themselves when they play the second-leg in Tunisia.

"It's important for us to win at home, but more importantly is not to concede. I would prefer to win 1-0 than win 3-1."

"It's very important not to concede at home because we are very capable of scoring goals away, as we have proven before."

Pirates and Sahel clash on Saturday, November 21 at the Orlando Stadium in the first-leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.

Kick-off is at 20:00.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
