Tinkler questions Tuks motivation

Cape Town  - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler admits to having concerns over the levels of motivation his players will have for Saturday's showdown with University of Pretoria.

The Buccaneers, currently 12th in the Premiership table, head into the game on the back of a 2-1 win over Ajax Cape Town, which had followed on from last weekend's 1-1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs.

Both matches are certainly more high profile from the upcoming clash with second-from-bottom AmaTuks, but Tinkler admits it could be more of a challenge getting his men to fire on all cylinders this weekend.

"Motivating the players to play against Chiefs, it's an easy task. But for them now to be motivated to play against Tuks is difficult," he told KickOff.

"Leagues are won and lost when you don't win those games.

"It is an extremely important game for us because as I have stated, we've climbed the table now and we are really one point away from sixth place on the league."
