Tinkler, Hlatshwayo named Coach and Player of the Month

Cape Town - Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler and Bidvest Wits captain Thulani Hlatshwayo was named Coach and Player of the Month for March.

Tinkler's charges are flying high in the Premiership as they ply first place on the log standings and are in a good position to claim their second title (Telkom Knockout) of the season.

Hlatshwayo has been instrumental in Wits' back four as the Clever Boys look to continue to apply pressure on the Citizens in the title chase.

"Credit must go to coach Gavin Hunt. He has made me realise qualities in me that I never thought I had," said Hlatshwayo.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs' Siphiwe Tshabalala picked up the Goal of the Month award and joins Marc Van Heerden, George Lebese, Oscarine Masuluke and Percy Tau who have won the monthly award.
