Tinkler doing exceptionally well, says Mosimane

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane believes that Eric Tinkler is out to prove a point at Cape Town City.

The two South African coaches go head-to-head on Friday evening at Athlone Stadium as their sides look to up the momentum in their PSL title quest.

City currently occupy second place on the Premiership log with only goal difference separating Tinkler’s charges with leaders, SuperSport United.

The Brazilians, however, are in fifth position but have an advantage of four games in hand.

Mosimane deems Tinkler is doing a great job at the club in their first season since the John Comitis bought and renamed the team which was once known as Mpumalanga Black Aces.

“They (Cape Town City) have got a coach who really wants to put a mark for his career and who also feels maybe at Pirates he was not given (a proper) opportunity,” Mosimane said as quoted by KickOff.

"Now he wants to show us and say ‘I have my chance now and I am taking it’ and he has been doing exceptionally well.”

 Kick off is at 20:00.
