Tinkler coy on Ndlovu speculation

Cape Town - Maritzburg United coach Eric Tinkler would not be drawn on speculation linking his side with a loan move for Orlando Pirates midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu.

Ndlovu left Maritzburg at the end of last season to join the Buccaneers but has enjoyed precious little game time at the Buccaneers, fuelling he could return to the Team of Choice on loan.

And Tinkler was in no mood to talk about the speculation with his focus firmly fixed on the Kwazulu-Natal derby against AmaZulu on Friday night.

"I'm here to answer about the AmaZulu FC game," the Maritzburg mentor told KickOff.

"It all about man management, talking to the players, making them aware that they have a responsibility, they are professional footballers.

"They need to apply themselves in the correct manner. There's always going to be rumours, the press like to claim the source, there are many sources, but you've just got to deal with it.

"I think players have been in the game for long enough to know what to believe and what not to believe."

The Team of Choice will welcome AmaZulu to the Harry Gwala Stadium on Friday evening.

Kick-off is at 20:00.
