Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler has revealed that they have been keeping close tabs on their CAF Confederation Cup final opponents, Etoile du Sahel.
The Sowetan giants face the Tunisian side on Saturday, November 21 at the Orlando Stadium in the first of two-leg encounters.
Meanwhile, Tinkler mentions that the mood in the camp has been optimistic and is chuffed with the amount of time they have to prepare for the final.
“The mood in camp has been excellent & the preparation just as well. We have been analysing the opposition closely,” said the coach as quoted by Pirates official Twitter account.
“We have had more time to work, which is good. Usually we have a small space of time with all the games in between. So I'm happy.”
Tinkler also says that Sahel have much more information on Pirates than they have on them.
"It's easier for our opponents because all our games are on DSTV across the continent. It's easier for them. But we have our ways"
"I know that ESS is very solid & have depth. In the many games of theirs that I have seen, they don't play with the same players"
"They know our guys by name; we know them by number as well so we are fully prepared for this"
Kick-off is at 20:00.
