Tignyemb set for Bloem Celtic return

Cape Town - Goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb is set to re-sign with Bloemfontein Celtic after earlier being released by Siwelele following a falling out over money.

Tignyemb was reportedly a ring-leader in organising protest action against Celtic's management over unpaid salaries to players and staff.

However, it appears a reconciliation between all parties has been found and the Cameroonian is set to put pen to paper on a new deal for 2019/20.

As such, he has confirmed he will return for pre-season training on 17 June.

The 33-year-old told KickOff: "I have not signed, but I am going to sign."

In addition, the club have exercised an option on forward Ndumiso Mabena.

The former Orlando Pirates star was on the wanted list of SuperSport United but now appears set to continue his trade at Celtic in the new campaign.
