Three SA Clubs in CAF Confed Cup draw

Cairo - The draw for the play-off round of the 2017 Confederation Cup took place on Tuesday morning at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo.

The draw pitted the 16 qualified teams from the first round of the Confederation Cup against the 16 clubs which were eliminated from the CAF Champions League.

The first leg encounters are scheduled for the weekend April 7-9, 2017 with the return games on the weekend of April 14-16, 2017.

Wits have been drawn against Egyptian club Smouha, SuperSport United will play against Liberia's Barrack Young Controllers and Platinum Stars will take on AS Tanda from Ivory Coast.
