Cape Town - Former Baroka coach Kgoloko Thobejane says he plans to appeal the decision to fire him after he was reportedly caught drinking on the team bus after a defeat to Free State Stars earlier this season.
Captain Olaleng Shaku and goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke were earlier dismissed for reportedly imbibing alcohol after Bakgaga lost 2-0 to Ea Lla Koto in February.
Nonetheless, Thobejane has also since had his services terminated by chairman Khurishi Mphahlele despite missing last Thursday's initial disciplinary hearing.
Speaking to Kickoff, he said: "I got a dismissal (letter) today. There was no time for questions. They just give you the letter and say you are dismissed, then it will be up to you what is the next step you are going to take.
"I'll be around. I'm here for football, I'm free to join any team. There's nothing really I can say except to say it's their decision, but I will be job hunting even though I will do an appeal.
"There must be an appeal, it will be there. There will be those who will do an appeal on my behalf, as for me I will be looking for a job.
"There are people whose job is to speak for other people, they are the ones who will be taking this further. Just because I will be appealing it doesn't mean I must sit still and not look for a job."
