Cape Town - Recent Cape Town City recruit Teko Modise believes the possibilities are endless at what he can still achieve while in the colours of the club.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star, who is in the twilight of his career and with his 35th birthday approaching in December, Modise still feels he can contribute at a high level for the Citizens.
Such was City's faith in his abilities, Modise was handed a two-year deal and says he is eager to live up to the trust the club have placed in him.
"It's very fascinating actually because people have never spoken about my performance," Modise told the Sowetan website.
"It shows that people choose to ignore certain things.
"I'm a footballer and need to be judged on what I do on the pitch and for me, the age issue has never affected me and never affected my ability.
"They said I was a late bloomer when I came into the PSL (at age 24), but that never affected me till today.
"So it shows that when you have a passion about something and you put your mind to it, the sky is the limit and that's basically where I am right now.
"I just wanna play football and be happy. Actually, maybe try (and) kill this stigma that when you are over 30, you are old."
