Cape Town - SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo says the partnership between Thamsanqa Gabuza and Bradley Grobler can prove to be prolific.
The pair started together on the opening day of the season in the 2-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns, however, they weren't able to trouble the scorers.
Nonetheless, Tembo has full belief that goals will start to rain from Gabuza and Grobler in the 2019/20 campaign.
Speaking to reporters, he said: "With Gabuza first game, I thought he did well and combined well with Bradey Grobler. They could play off each other very well and I think we piled on the pressure, especially on the two centre-backs.
"We didn't want to give them too much time on the ball because when they start to build from the back, they cause problems.
"Gabuza did well. He was also a good athlete for us, whenever we had problems, we could go to him. He held the ball very well and got into good areas even though he got tired, that's why we took him out. But with time he is going to help us."
Gabuza has a chance to enact revenge on his old employers Orlando Pirates when United meet the Sea Robbers on 14 August.
